Sustainability at Monkhouse
We recognise that students are more conscious and knowledgeable of sustainability issues than ever before! That’s why we, at Monkhouse are committed to doing what we can to make the planet a greener and healthier place for future generations.
Just one of the actions we’re taking is increasing the supply of eco-friendly uniforms so that every child can be proud of what they wear to school. We already offer an amazing range of eco products made using recycled plastic bottles – and we’re not stopping there!
At Monkhouse, we put sustainability at the heart of everything we do. And now we have our eco warrior Enzo to help us on our journey.
Being our trusty eco warrior, Enzo is here to tell you everything you need to know about sustainability and what makes a uniform ‘eco’.
Look out for Enzo in our stores and our website to learn more about our eco uniforms and ways for you to help us on our sustainability journey!
Our journey to achieving head to toe in eco
We’re on a mission to provide students with a ‘Head to Toe in Eco’ uniform and we’ve already made great progress. Many of our essentials range of shirts, trousers and skirts are transitioning to, or are already made from eco fabrics!
Many eco fabrics are made with recycled polyester from plastic bottles, saving them from reaching landfill!
